It captures how you actually work across your tools (locally, on your device), surfaces the routines you repeat, and an on-device model drafts a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for any one of them. You then copy that SOP into Claude to build a reusable skill that does the work. No servers, no accounts, no cloud sync, no third-party trackers, no data transmission. The on-device model means sensitive workflow data never leaves the machine. If you clear your browser data, the data is gone. ## Limitations - **Chromium browsers only**: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, Vivaldi, and similar. It installs from the Chrome Web Store, which Edge and other Chromium browsers can install from as well. Not available for non-Chromium browsers such as Firefox or Safari. - **Browser activity only**: Assete captures what you do in the browser, not in desktop apps. - **Workflow analysis needs a capable machine**: the Analyze step runs an AI model on your device, so it needs a recent laptop with enough resources.
